About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Assistant Gardener to join our team at the National Trust. As Assistant Gardener, you will play a key role in maintaining the high standards of our gardens and contributing to the delivery of projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with the planting and maintenance of shrubs and borders, mulching, hedge cutting, and lawn mowing.
  • Work alongside gardeners and a team of volunteers to achieve our gardening goals.
  • Provide excellent customer service to visitors, answering their questions and sharing your knowledge of the garden.
  • Develop and maintain a practical approach to work, focusing on getting the day-to-day tasks done.
  • Be willing to learn new skills and take on new challenges.
