About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Environmental Consultant to join our Site Solutions department as a Managing Consultant - Contaminated Land in London. As a key member of our international team, you will be responsible for advising clients on contaminated land, environmental risks, and solutions, with a focus on multidisciplinary development projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Direct and manage contaminated land investigations, risk assessments, and remediation projects.
  • Collaborate with colleagues in Ground Engineering, Structures, and Transport departments to deliver multi-disciplinary services to clients.
  • Take a lead role in managing and expanding multi-disciplinary client relationships.
  • Manage, coach, and mentor early career professionals.
  • Oversee financial management and direction of contaminated land projects.
  • Contribute to business development and the financial and non-financial goals of the Site Solutions service line.
  • Provide senior governance and duties in accordance with Ramboll's competency and governance frameworks.
About You

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced professional with a strong background in environmental sciences, environmental engineering, or a related field. You will have a Master's degree in an environmental discipline and significant experience in project management, including financial and technical project management.

You will have a proven track record of working with buildings and infrastructure development teams, including experience of RIBA stages. You will be a proactive and responsible leader, able to manage workload, deliverables, and resources across multiple projects.

You will also have experience in developing client-facing trusted advisor relationships and be able to provide senior governance and duties in accordance with Ramboll's competency and governance frameworks.
