About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Geo-Environmental Consultant to join our team at Allen & York. As a key member of our Geo-Environmental & Mining Business Unit, you will work closely with our planning, environment, and engineering teams to deliver holistic solutions to a wide range of clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with geo-technical specialists to deliver comprehensive consultancy services
  • Work on contaminated land projects, including Phase 1 and Phase 2 investigations
  • Manage and supervise ground investigation on site, including groundwater and ground gas monitoring
  • Produce high-quality reports and interpretative studies
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
Requirements
  • Master's degree in geology, engineering geology, hydrogeology, or a related environmental science discipline
  • Chartered status with a relevant body, such as CIWEM or IEMA
  • Comprehensive consultancy experience, with a strong understanding of current contaminated land technical guidance
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Full, clean driving license
