Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) Consultant to join our team at Lucion Environmental Advisory. As an EIA Consultant, you will play a key role in supporting and advising our clients on their infrastructure projects, ensuring that they meet the highest environmental standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert advice on environmental and EIA issues to clients, ensuring that their projects are compliant with relevant regulations and guidelines.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, working closely with internal teams and external consultants to ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Coordinate EIA and environmental projects, managing projects from feasibility to construction and ensuring that all stakeholders are informed and engaged throughout the process.
  • Proactively manage project programmes and budgets, ensuring that projects are delivered efficiently and effectively.
  • Lead bids and sales for multidisciplinary environmental projects, working closely with colleagues across various technical disciplines to develop and deliver winning proposals.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring that clients receive exceptional service and support throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Represent the company at client meetings and industry events, promoting the company's expertise and services to a wider audience.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across various technical disciplines, sharing knowledge and expertise to deliver high-quality projects and services.
  • Expertly interpret and communicate complex data, developing clear solutions for clients and ensuring that they are fully informed and engaged throughout the project process.

Requirements

  • Associate or Full Member of IEMA or a similar institution.
  • Minimum of 2+ years of experience in EIA or environmental consultancy roles.
  • Passionate about environmental and sustainable development, with a strong understanding of UK EIA regulations and guidelines.
  • Experience with diverse infrastructure projects of various scales, with a proven ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.
  • Strong organizational skills, with proficiency in using GIS, Microsoft Office, and other relevant software.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team, with a motivated and proactive approach to work.
  • Proven ability to win projects and build lasting client relationships, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality projects and services.
