Job Summary:

Circet Ireland & UK is seeking a highly skilled Commercial Manager to join our team. As a Commercial Manager, you will be responsible for leading, assisting and developing the commercial team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement commercial reporting systems and procedures to maximise commercial benefits of all responsible contracts.
  • Develop and implement commercial strategies to mitigate risks and increase revenue.
  • Work closely with project delivery teams to manage commercial functions across various works within telecoms.
  • Collaborate with project and contracts managers to collate information on projects and manage costs.
  • Prepare internal and external commercial reports to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Establish and maintain interfaces with key stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Manage costs of direct labour, material, plant, and subcontractors to ensure optimal resource allocation.
  • Estimate changes and variations using various methods to ensure accurate cost forecasting.
  • Assist with the implementation of commercial strategies to drive business growth and profitability.
  • Hold meetings with clients and senior management teams to discuss cost projections and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Work proactively with tender and bid teams to secure new clients and projects.
  • Develop a strategy for supplier engagement to drive business growth and improve relationships.

Requirements:

  • Degree qualified or similar in a relevant field.
  • Proven ability to run complex bids and multiple bids.
  • Understanding of pricing, cost, and profit.
  • Knowledge and understanding of commercial construction law.
  • Experience working with NEC, JCT, ICE, or bespoke contracts.
  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills, with the ability to problem-solve and make decisions.
  • Excellent IT skills and communication skills.
