Recruitment Solutions is currently seeking a skilled receptionist for a temporary role. The ideal candidate will possess a wealth of experience in managing front desk operations efficiently.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage incoming calls on the switchboard, ensuring prompt and professional responses within a target of five rings.
  • Properly announce callers when transferring to the relevant extensions and accurately record messages, including time, date, caller's name, company, contact number, and purpose of the call, if necessary. Ensure timely delivery of messages to the intended recipients.
  • Welcome visitors by verifying appointments and maintaining a log in the visitor's book, while promptly notifying the appropriate staff member. Ensure that all visitors are accompanied at all times.
  • Assist in maintaining an updated telephone extension list for the office and distribute copies to relevant personnel.
  • Regularly update notice boards with internal communications and job vacancies, ensuring they remain organized and presentable.
  • Uphold a professional and positive demeanor at all times when interacting with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Adhere to security protocols for managing access for staff and visitors entering the premises.
  • Facilitate the distribution of incoming faxes, especially those marked as urgent, and promptly inform the relevant personnel upon receipt.
  • Monitor the office parking area and provide guidance to staff or visitors regarding appropriate parking practices.
  • Provide support in the Post Room during periods of absence or illness.
