Job Summary

Home Group is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Supported Living Worker to join our team. As a Supported Living Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with complex needs to develop their skills and live more independently in the community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist customers with practical, daily living tasks to promote independence and achieve their goals.
  • Support customers in developing their skills and abilities to live more independently.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless support and care for customers.
  • Conduct risk assessments, support planning, and regular reviews to ensure customer needs are met.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to customers, promoting a sense of belonging and well-being.

Requirements

  • A Level 2 Health and Social Care Certificate or willingness to work towards it.
  • Experience of caring for others, either in a professional or personal capacity.
  • Ability to work on own initiative, remaining calm under pressure and having a resilient approach.
  • Valid UK/EU driving license and over 25 years old to comply with Motability insurance criteria.
