We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Supported Living Worker to join our team at Home Group. As a Supported Living Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting our customers who have complex needs to develop their skills and live more independently in the community.
Key Responsibilities- Assist customers with practical, daily living tasks to develop their independence and achieve their goals and aspirations.
- Support customers with daily living activities such as making meals, shopping, budgeting, and maintaining their tenancy.
- Help customers attend appointments, participate in hobbies and interests, and attend college or work.
- Support customers with their personal care and medication needs.
- Carry out risk assessments, support planning, goal setting, and regular reviews.
- A Level 2 Health and Social Care Certificate or willingness to work towards it.
- Experience of caring for others, either in a care setting or through personal experience.
- Ability to work on own initiative, remain calm under pressure, and have a resilient approach.
- Flexible and personal approach, listening to customers to understand their needs.
- Valid UK/EU driving licence and over 25 years old to comply with Motability insurance criteria.
- 34 days leave (including bank holidays and a 'me day') increasing to 39, with the option to buy 5 more.
