Position Overview

The Tower Hamlets Partnership is seeking a dedicated professional to join our team as an Anatomical Pathologist Technologist. This role is pivotal in supporting the management of our Public Mortuary.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in overseeing the operations of the Public Mortuary.
  • Respond to inquiries from the Coroner's Service and facilitate Public Health funerals.
  • Conduct casework and provide assistance during post-mortem examinations and forensic investigations.
  • Implement a performance monitoring system to ensure high standards of service.
  • Be available for out-of-hours work as required.
  • Support the reconstruction and sanitization of bodies post-examination.
  • Coordinate and manage Parish Funerals.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in Mortuary Services.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Possession of a Diploma in Anatomical Pathology Technology.

An Enhanced DBS check is mandatory for this position.
