The Education Health and Care Team at Bath & North East Somerset Council is seeking a talented individual to join their team as a SEND Practitioner. This is a diverse and engaging role that involves working closely with children, young people, and their families to support their education and prepare them for adulthood.
As a SEND Practitioner, you will be responsible for coordinating the collection of assessments required to support SEND processes, producing high-quality Education Health and Care Plans, and managing statutory timescales. You will also network with various services, agencies, and providers to gather information and support families in making informed choices.
The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, be able to independently plan their workload, and work under pressure. They will also have the ability to analyze and interpret information from a wide range of sources and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
