About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Air Export Coordinator to join our team at Woodland Group. As an Air Export Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing the export process from start to finish, including costing, invoice charging, and customs entries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the export process, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of goods to customers.
  • Obtain necessary information to ensure correct measures are in place and customer needs are met.
  • Provide quotations to clients and/or global partners.
  • Liaise between suppliers, forwarders, and agents to obtain up-to-date shipment information.
  • Ensure customers are fully informed of the progress of their shipments.
  • Provide transport companies with relevant information to ensure customer delivery requirements are met.
  • Ensure correct documentation is on file and act accordingly as set out in instructions.
  • Maintain all files, ensuring they are costed and billed correctly in accordance with procedures provided by management.
  • Cover other offices' Air Exports when required.
  • Perform any other duties as required by management for the smooth and efficient operation of the department.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrable experience in Air Exports within Freight Forwarding.
  • Ability to work thoroughly, methodically, with an excellent attention to detail.
  • Collaborative working style, with ability to work with other members of the team and key stakeholders across the group.
  • Natural ability to build and maintain strong working relationships.
  • Flexibility, adaptability, and open-mindedness, with ability to respond to changing priorities and challenges.
  • Proactive approach to improving processes and ability to put forward and implement ideas.
  • Self-motivated, with huge drive and ambition, and a desire to achieve great success and help build a great place to work.
