About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Air Export Coordinator to join our team in Manchester. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for managing the export process from start to finish, ensuring efficient deliveries and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the export process, including costing, invoice charging, and customs entries;
  • Obtain necessary information to ensure correct measures are in place and customer needs are met;
  • Provide quotations to clients and/or global partners;
  • Liaise between suppliers, forwarders, and agents to obtain up-to-date shipment information;
  • Ensure customers are fully informed of the progress of their shipments;
  • Provide transport companies with relevant information to ensure customer delivery requirements are met;
  • Ensure correct documentation is on file and act accordingly as set out in the instructions;
  • Maintain all files, ensuring they are costed and billed correctly in accordance with procedures provided by management;
  • Cover other offices' Air Exports when required;
  • Perform other duties as required by management for the smooth and efficient operation of the department.
Requirements
  • Demonstrable experience in Air Exports within Freight Forwarding;
  • Ability to work thoroughly, methodically, with an excellent attention to detail;
  • Collaborative skills, working with other members of the team and key stakeholders across the group;
  • Natural ability to build and maintain strong working relationships;
  • Flexibility, adaptability, and open-mindedness, responding well to changing priorities and challenges;
  • Proactive approach to improving processes and initiative to put them forward and into practice;
  • Self-motivated, with huge drive and ambition, thriving on achieving great success and helping to build a great place to work;
  • Fantastic communication skills.
