Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Analyst to join our team at GE Aviation. As a key member of our Sourcing team, you will play a critical role in supporting the development of our commercial strategies and ensuring the successful execution of our bids and proposals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Sourcing: Lead the development of sourcing strategies to support the growth of our business, working closely with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities and drive cost savings.
  • Bid Management: Manage the sourcing input for all proposal activities, ensuring compliance with policy and procedures, and coordinating with commodity, cost out, and NPI teams to shape our future margin expansion strategy.
  • Proposal Regulatory Adherence: Ensure that all proposals are compliant with USG FAR PART 12 and 15 regulations, and provide guidance and support to the team to ensure regulatory adherence.
  • Resource Planning and Alignment: Establish and administer a tracker for current and future expected proposals to support resource planning and alignment in Sourcing.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Partner with commodity teams to challenge opportunities to optimize existing pricing based on potential future volumes, and represent Sourcing at appropriate bid reviews.

  • Exceptional Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze complex data and develop insights to drive business decisions.
  • Strong Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Ability to influence all levels of the organization and lead small teams.
  • Business Acumen: Strong understanding of commercial and financial concepts, including pricing, cost management, and revenue growth.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with USG FAR PART 12 and 15 regulations and ability to ensure compliance.
  • Leadership and Collaboration: Ability to lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business outcomes.

Security Clearance

Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) clearance is required and must be maintained for this role. Please note that in the event that BPSS clearance cannot be obtained, you may not be eligible for the role and/or any offer of employment may be withdrawn on grounds of national security.
