NPD and Compliance Manager Job Description

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced NPD and Compliance Manager to join our team at Panesar Foods Ltd. As a key member of our Technical Department, you will be responsible for leading and managing the NPD and Technical Services team, ensuring the development of innovative and high-quality products that meet customer needs and regulatory requirements.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective NPD processes, ensuring timely and successful product launches.
  • Lead and manage the NPD and Technical Services team, providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality products.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, company policies, and customer specifications.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and regulatory bodies.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure team performance and identify areas for improvement.

Requirements:

  • 5 GCSEs at grade A – D (or equivalent) and an industry-recognised food technical qualification (HND/Degree or equivalent).
  • 5 years of experience in people management, with a proven track record of leading and developing high-performing teams.
  • Previous NPD Manager or Senior Technologist experience, with a strong understanding of product development processes and regulatory requirements.
