Position Overview: Are you on the path to achieving your Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) qualification? Are you eager to apply your skills in a supportive role for Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 students?

Daily Compensation: £83 (Contract)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with educators to design and deliver engaging lessons, utilizing innovative and inclusive teaching methods.
  • Provide a nurturing atmosphere that enables students to build a strong educational foundation, with adaptability to new curriculum content.
  • Maintain awareness of child safeguarding protocols and effectively communicate any concerns to senior staff.
  • Possess an Enhanced DBS check, either currently valid on the update service or willing to undergo the necessary process.
  • Offer individualized support to students with Autism or those experiencing Social and Emotional Mental Health challenges.
  • A strong proficiency in Mathematics and English is preferred, along with experience in Special Educational Needs (SEN).

Ideal Candidates: This position is suitable for university graduates, individuals pursuing a PGCE, and those with prior experience as Teaching Assistants.

Qualifications:

  • Possession of an NVQ or equivalent SEN certification is preferred.
  • A Higher Level Teaching Assistant qualification (HLTA) is required.
