About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bookkeeper to join our team at Sheridan Maine South. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing our financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all aspects of bookkeeping.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Transaction Management: Process supplier invoices, manage purchase ledger, and oversee banking and cash management.
  • Credit Control: Follow up on outstanding payments and resolve any related queries.
  • Financial Reporting: Generate invoices to clients, reconcile credit card transactions, and provide ad-hoc reporting for the wider finance team.
Requirements
  • Experience: Proven experience in a similar role, ideally in a fast-paced environment.
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with Sage accounting software (preferred).
  • Soft Skills: Strong communication skills, ability to build relationships across departments, excellent attention to detail, and time management skills.
