About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Bookings Administrator to join our team at Nuffield Health Brighton Hospital.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure the smooth operation of administrative tasks, meeting all required standards and timescales.
  • Manage and interpret data, information, and situations to inform decision-making.
  • Handle all patient and consultant enquiries, booking appointments, and queries.
  • Enter, modify, maintain, and present data accurately and efficiently using electronic or manual systems.
  • Prepare reports as requested and required by the department.
  • Provide professional patient and consultant liaisons, both in person and remotely.
  • Manage appointment bookings and changes.
  • Create, alter, or cancel clinics and theatre lists as needed.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a fast-paced customer service environment.
  • Ability to prioritize and organize a workload with changing priorities.
  • Excellent telephone manner and verbal and written English communication skills.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and strong computer skills, including database management.
  • Attention to detail, including producing patient correspondence and appointment confirmations.
  • Understanding of the importance of policies and operating procedures.
