Job Description

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and ambitious individual to join our Sales Team as an Account Executive. This exciting opportunity will involve maintaining existing established relationships with customers, as well as developing new relationships to drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Business Manager to define a strategy for success and achieve joint sales targets.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and work closely with the commercial team to understand customer needs and challenges.
  • Identify opportunities for service uplifts and contractual renegotiation with designated customers.
  • Manage and maintain valued long-term relationships with customers.
  • Set and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) with the Business Manager.
  • Develop a new business strategy to generate net new accounts for the company.

Person Specification

We are looking for someone who is highly personable, confident, and enthusiastic, with a natural ability to establish and maintain trust with colleagues, customers, and suppliers. The ideal candidate will be a natural problem solver with high levels of creativity, a desire to continually learn and challenge themselves, and a proactive approach with the ability to use initiative and manage without authority.

Requirements

  • 1 year of customer-centric B2B sales experience in the UK, or equivalent Account Management/Customer Success experience.
  • Excellent organisational and proposal writing skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport instantly.
  • A UK Driving License.
