Restaurant Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Manager to lead our team at Heavens Kitchen Steak Ltd in Farnham, Surrey. As a Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining high standards of quality control, hygiene, and health and safety.
Main Responsibilities:- Manage the business performance of the restaurant, analysing sales levels and profitability, and implementing plans to improve sales and profitability.
- Organise marketing activities, such as promotional events and discount schemes, to attract and retain customers.
- Prepare reports at the end of the shift/week, including staff control, food control, and sales, to monitor performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Create and execute plans for department sales, profit, and staff development to drive business growth.
- Set budgets or agree with them with senior management to ensure financial control and accountability.
- Plan and coordinate menus, working closely with the head chef, to ensure menu offerings are appealing and profitable.
- Coordinate the operation of the restaurant, ensuring that kitchen, bar, and waiting staff are working as a team to provide excellent customer service.
- Recruit, train, manage, and motivate staff to ensure a high-performing team.
- Respond to customer queries and complaints, resolving issues promptly and professionally.
- Maintain high standards of quality control, hygiene, and health and safety, ensuring compliance with licensing laws and other legal requirements.
- A proven record of service excellence, with a strong track record of delivering exceptional customer service.
- The ability to motivate, inspire, and train a team, with a hands-on approach and desire to lead by example.
- Immaculate presentation skills, with a passion for delivering excellent customer service.
- Able to work in an efficient and organised manner, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong industry and food knowledge, with the ability to advise guests on food and beverage choices and accompaniments.
