Science Teacher Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated Science Teacher to join our team at an Alternative Provision Secondary School in Waltham Forest, London. The successful candidate will be passionate about inclusive education and committed to providing essential education to students with significant barriers to learning.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Teach KS3 and KS4 GCSE Science to students with diverse needs
  • Implement a therapeutic teaching approach to support students with emotional regulation and positive behaviour
  • Develop strong relationships with vulnerable students and their families
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary education team to provide specialist support
Requirements:
  • QTS/QTLS qualification and experience of teaching Science
  • Ability to work with students with SEN, MLD, Behaviour difficulties, SEMH, Trauma, and social communication teaching background
  • Experience of working with disengaged teenagers and building strong relationships
  • Passion for teaching and inspiring young people
