Science Teacher Role

We are seeking a dedicated Science Teacher to join our team at ERS Education Ltd. The ideal candidate will have a passion for inclusive education and a commitment to providing essential education to students with significant barriers to learning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach Science to students in a therapeutic setting
  • Develop and implement lesson plans that cater to the needs of students with emotional regulation and behavioral difficulties
  • Build strong relationships with students and colleagues to create a supportive learning environment
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary education team to provide specialized support to students

Requirements:

  • QTS/QTLS qualification and experience of teaching KS3 and KS4 GCSE Science
  • Experience of teaching with emotional regulation and positive behavior/de-escalation strategies
  • Ability to build strong relationships with vulnerable students and provide a sensitive, nurturing, and consistent approach
  • Experience working with students with SEN, MLD, behavior difficulties, SEMH, trauma, and social communication teaching background
