Science Teacher Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Science Teacher to join our team at ERS Education Ltd. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching Science and a commitment to providing high-quality education to students with diverse needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Teach Science to students in a therapeutic setting, utilizing a therapeutic teaching approach to meet the individual needs of each student.
  • Develop and implement lesson plans that cater to the diverse learning styles and abilities of students.
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary education team to provide a comprehensive and supportive learning environment.
  • Utilize positive behavior and de-escalation strategies to manage challenging behaviors and promote a safe and respectful learning environment.
Requirements:
  • QTS/QTLS qualification and experience of teaching Science to KS3 and KS4 GCSE level.
  • Experience of working with students with emotional regulation difficulties, SEN, MLD, and SEMH.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with students and colleagues, and to communicate effectively with parents and carers.
  • Passion for teaching and inspiring young people, and a commitment to providing high-quality education.
