Job Title: Night Shift Electrician

Vertiv is seeking a skilled Night Shift Electrician to join our team in Derry, Northern Ireland. As a key member of our dynamic team, you will be responsible for assembling electrical switchgear and associated electromechanical equipment/systems to engineering drawings and production timescales.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assemble electrical switchgear and electromechanical equipment/systems to engineering drawings and production timescales.
  • Ensure quality standards are maintained for products both in the factory and at customer premises.
  • Adhere to all Company Policies and Procedures.

Requirements:
  • Proven experience working on assembly of both mechanical and electrical equipment and electromechanical systems.
  • Ability to work on own initiative with minimal supervision.
  • Sound knowledge of engineering tools and electrical hand tools and equipment including torquing.
  • Maturity and engineering practicality.
  • Adherence to Company policies and procedures.
  • Ability to mentor and develop team members.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • C&G Electrical Qualification & an Engineering Apprenticeship with AM2 or equivalent.
  • Mechanical knowledge would be advantageous.
  • Experience in Electrical switchgear manufacture or similar.
  • Experience in field service work / on-site installations.
  • Familiar with Risk Assessments and Method statements.
