Electrical Design Engineer Opportunity

Vertiv, a global leader in critical digital infrastructure and continuity solutions, is seeking a skilled Electrical Design Engineer to join their team in Campsie, Derry. This role presents an excellent opportunity for a qualified professional to apply their technical expertise and contribute to the success of the company.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the Electrical Design team to prepare detailed design drawings and documentation for the Switchgear Manufacturing department.
  • Review and provide feedback on electrical design drawings created by junior design engineers, while also coaching and mentoring those team members.
  • Ensure compliance with IEC/IET/IEE standards by applying knowledge of electrical regulations and standards to design products.
  • Develop software for standard control equipment and create test scripts to validate control schemes.
Requirements:
  • 3rd level qualification in Engineering or 3 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
  • Proven experience in a related position or comparable role involving design engineering and project management.
