Babcock is seeking a skilled Reporting Accountant to join our team in Portsmouth. As a Reporting Accountant, you will play a critical role in providing accurate and timely financial data to support business decision-making.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide a reporting service to the Land Sector Training Business Unit, ensuring timely and accurate financial data.
  • Collaborate with the Group, Sector, and Business Facing Finance teams to achieve business objectives.
  • Support the FP&A Manager in providing financial analysis and insights to inform business decisions.
  • Assist in managing relationships with Group and BU Finance teams.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement projects to enhance financial reporting and analysis.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in financial reporting and analysis, with a strong understanding of industry and regulatory standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and experience with BPC Reporting system or similar applications.
  • Recognized professional accounting qualification (ACCA, ACA, ACMA, CIMA, ICAEW, ICAS) or equivalent.
  • Ability to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance.
