We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Training and Competence Manager to join our team and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Training and Competence Oversight

Develop and implement a comprehensive Training and Competence scheme that meets regulatory requirements and aligns with the company's business objectives.

Regulatory Compliance

Ensure that all employees have the necessary skills, knowledge, and expertise to carry out their roles effectively and in compliance with regulatory requirements.

Training and Development

Design and deliver training programs that meet the needs of employees and the company, and ensure that all employees have access to ongoing training and development opportunities.

Competence Assessment

Develop and implement a competence assessment process that ensures employees have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.

Regulatory Reporting

Ensure that all regulatory reporting requirements are met, including the submission of reports to the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA).

Stakeholder Management

Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including employees, managers, and external partners.

Requirements
  • Qualifications

A relevant professional qualification, such as the Diploma in Financial Advice (DipFA), and a strong understanding of regulatory requirements.

Experience

A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role, with a strong track record of ensuring regulatory compliance and developing effective training programs.

Skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with employees at all levels and external partners.

Knowledge

A strong understanding of regulatory requirements, including the FCA's Training and Competence requirements.

Working Arrangements

We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, including a company pension scheme and free parking. The successful candidate will be required to work full-time, with a minimum of 35 hours per week. We are open to flexible working arrangements, including part-time and hybrid working options.
