Audit and Accounts Senior Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Audit and Accounts Senior to join our team in Haverfordwest. As a key member of our audit team, you will be responsible for leading audits from planning through to completion, preparing accounts for non-audit clients, and reviewing work prepared by junior staff members.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead audits from planning through to completion, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
  • Prepare accounts for non-audit clients, maintaining high standards of quality and attention to detail.
  • Review work prepared by junior staff members, providing guidance and support to ensure excellence.
  • Manage a portfolio of clients, from resource planning to WIP and budget management, ensuring seamless delivery.
  • Build trusted relationships with clients, providing exceptional support and service.
  • Present work to Managers, completing files to a high standard, and underpinning audit and accounts matters with current legislation and compliance.
  • Handle compliance queries from clients, providing expert advice and guidance.
  • Assist with pitching to new clients and attending networking opportunities, championing new business for the firm.
  • Mentor and support new trainees, supporting their learning and development, and setting an example for the team.

Requirements:
  • ACCA or ACA qualified, or finalist, with previous accountancy practice experience.
  • Experience in the provision of audits and accounts preparation.
  • Self-motivated and reliable, with a drive to deliver an excellent level of service.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, and an appetite to progress and take on a supervisory role within the firm.
