Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled SHEQ Manager to join our team at Redmore Recruitment. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for supporting and acting as Relief to the Site Manager, covering Health, Safety, Quality, and Environmental requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the implementation of Health, Safety, and Environment procedures to ensure compliance with company and legal standards.
- Support company SHEQ initiatives and drive a proactive approach to accident prevention.
- Promote a positive Health and Safety culture throughout the site.
- Coordinate site inspections and investigations, and prepare the company for audits, compliance, and maintenance of relevant standards.
- Manage a team and provide guidance on Risk Management Method Statements.
Requirements:
- Desirable experience in a SHEQ Management role within the waste industry, with the ability to liaise with regulators (NRW, HSE) or similar.
- Experience of managing a team and coordinating site operations.
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
- Strong written and spoken communication skills, with the ability to demonstrate results delivery.
- Ability to provide detailed information sharing and drive SHEQ values and continuous improvement.
