Job Summary

We are recruiting for a Registered Manager to oversee and manage the Residential service for adults with complex learning disabilities and autism, some with potential challenging behaviours and communication difficulties.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the Residential service, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care and support to service users.
  • Collaborate with the Operations Director and Quality team to ensure the efficient delivery and development of the service.
  • Oversee the leadership and management of the staff team, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve service user outcomes and satisfaction.

Requirements

  • NVQ Level 5 in Health and Social Care (Essential)
  • Previous experience within a CQC Registered Manager position (Essential)
  • Service specific qualification (e.g., Autism) (Desirable)
  • Experience working in a residential and/or supported-living setting
  • Extensive knowledge of CQC guidelines and policies

Location

The role is located in Burnley, Lancashire and is commutable from Blackburn, Rochdale, Bolton, Todmorden, Preston, and Clitheroe.

Interview Process

The interview process involves an initial interview with the Operations Director and Director of Quality, followed by a second interview with the Managing Director and Operations Director.
