Temporary Support Workers Needed for Children's Residential Care Homes

Randstad Delivery (GBS) is recruiting for ongoing temporary support workers to staff various children's residential care homes. The main purpose of this role is to promote independent living, encourage routine, and provide discipline. Experience working within this sector is essential, with experience working with children with challenging behaviour being advantageous.

The young people in our care have experienced traumatic events in their lives, resulting in severe behaviour issues. As a result, we require someone confident in dealing with these situations. They may exhibit self-harm and attempt to escape placements, so experience in de-escalation techniques and restraint training is preferred. Additionally, experience and training in working with young people with autism is also preferred.

We have a consistent flow of excellent and rewarding opportunities for candidates with extensive experience working with looked-after children with mental health challenges and behavioural challenges. These individuals require caring, compassionate, and dedicated professionals to support them.

An enhanced DBS on the update service is required. If you don't have this, we can facilitate the process at a charge of £44. You must also be registered with Social Care Wales.
