About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Brynawel, providing residential support for adults with mental health needs.

As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in enabling individuals to live fulfilling lives, promoting independence, and supporting the development of personal skills through hobbies and interests.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Prompting service users to live independently and make informed decisions
  • Supporting and encouraging the development of personal skills through activities and interests
  • Maintaining and assisting with healthcare needs, including accompanying service users to appointments and administering medication
  • Teaching life skills such as budgeting, paying bills, and shopping
  • Assisting with personal care and domestic tasks, including cleaning and cooking
