Job Title: Healthcare Support Worker

Vetro Recruitment is seeking an experienced Healthcare Support Worker to join our team at Breconshire War Memorial Hospital in Brecon.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Support Worker to provide high-quality care and support to patients on General NHS Wards. As a Healthcare Support Worker, you will work closely with trained nurses to deliver direct care and provide therapeutic support to patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct care and support to patients on General NHS Wards
  • Work closely with trained nurses to deliver high-quality care
  • Provide therapeutic support to patients, including observing, monitoring, and keeping records of patient conditions
  • Ensure patient dignity, compassion, and honesty are maintained at all times
Requirements:
  • At least 6 months recent and relevant experience in an acute medical or mental health setting
  • Proof of immunisations for TB, Hepatitis B, Varicella, and MMR
  • Up-to-date training certificates
  • UK Resident
  • Right to work in the UK
