ROLE OVERVIEW
As part of our innovative Wastewater Management department, your role will involve the safe operation and maintenance of a variety of equipment at sewage treatment facilities. This position is not solely about managing a wastewater plant; you will play a crucial role in protecting and improving our local environment while delivering essential services to the community.
With comprehensive support and training, you will join a team of specialists dedicated to enhancing our region's waterways. Your daily responsibilities will include ensuring our treatment processes function optimally to fulfill this vital work. Rest assured, you will have ample support and collaboration to help you thrive in this role. We also welcome your insights and fresh perspectives to continually enhance our operations.

The successful candidate will be expected to follow a shift pattern, including mornings, afternoons, nights, and days, with generous time off between shifts.
Any necessary technical training will be provided.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Your main duties will include:
- Enthusiasm for learning and pursuing technical training in wastewater and sludge treatment.
- Ensuring that sites and assets are operated cost-effectively and energy-efficiently.
- Adhering to and contributing to statutory, company, and treatment works policies and procedures.
- Exhibiting positive attitudes and behaviors.
- Working independently and collaboratively within a team to meet deadlines.
- Maintaining a flexible approach, with the ability to respond quickly and effectively to changes in daily operations.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
Experience in wastewater treatment or sludge processing is advantageous. The successful candidate will be required to obtain the Level – Waste Water Process Operator qualification through our Academy. A full UK driving license is essential.
