Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Hygiene Operations Management: Oversee all hygiene activities across the site, including pest control, cleaning, and waste management.
  • Team Management: Manage and motivate a team of hygiene operatives to ensure they are working safely and efficiently.
  • Auditing and Compliance: Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure that all hygiene operations are carried out in a safe manner and that all staff are aware of and comply with health and safety procedures.
  • Communication and Liaison: Liaise with production managers and other departments to ensure that hygiene operations do not compromise production processes.
  • Training and Development: Ensure that all hygiene staff are fully trained and competent in their roles.
  • Documentation and Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of hygiene operations, audits, and training.
Requirements
  • Experience: Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing or food processing environment.
  • Qualifications: Relevant qualifications in health and safety, hygiene, or a related field.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
  • Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations, hygiene standards, and pest control procedures.
Working Hours

The successful candidate will be required to work a 40-hour week, covering 5 shifts, including days and nights, to ensure that hygiene operations are completed in the required time and to the correct standards.
