**Key Responsibilities**:
**Oversee Daily Transactions**:
Manage purchase ledger, sales ledger, and general ledger activities.

Handle payment processing in multiple currencies.

Supervise credit control processes.

**Ledger Management**:
Manage customer and supplier ledgers in various currencies.

Oversee the nominal ledger and ensure accurate recording.

**Bank Account Management**:
Manage and reconcile bank accounts.

Monitor daily performance of the accounting department.

Ensure effective communication within the accounting team.

**Credit Card and Expenses Processing**:
Supervise credit card and expenses processing.

**Policy and Procedure Establishment**:
Establish accounting policies and procedures to enhance departmental efficiencies.

Analyse and improve existing systems and processes.

**Flexibility**:
Demonstrate flexibility in adapting to various tasks within the role.

**Key Skills Required**:
Proven experience in a similar accounting role.

Strong organisational and prioritisation skills.

High attention to detail.

Enthusiastic and proactive approach to work.

Excellent communication and customer service skills.

IT literacy, with advanced Excel skills.

Accurate and timely data entry skills.

High level of literacy and numeracy.

SAPB1 experience desirable but not essential.

AAT or similar qualification or QBE.
