About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Community Advisor to join our team at a large medical practice in Gloucester. As a Community Advisor, you will play a vital role in supporting patients with their prescription needs, working closely with our Prescription Advisors and community pharmacies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist patients in using our online prescription system, ensuring they have a smooth and efficient experience.
  • Process online prescription requests, ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment.
  • Liaise with community pharmacies to resolve prescription queries and ensure seamless communication.
  • Manage paper prescriptions, ensuring they are filed correctly for collection by patients and pharmacies.
  • Coordinate reauthorizations with clinicians, ensuring accurate and timely allocation.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in using GP clinical software, with a strong understanding of the prescription process.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and workload.
