Job Title: Senior Occupational Health Advisor

RPS Occupational Health is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Occupational Health Advisor to lead our team of Occupational Health Advisors (OHAs) in delivering exceptional health surveillance and fitness for work services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a team of OHAs to ensure the delivery of high-quality health surveillance and fitness for work services.
  • Work closely with the Resource Management team, Operational Management Team, Business Development Team, Clinical Governance Team, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless workflow and optimal resource utilisation.
  • Lead by example, demonstrating a robust clinical governance attitude and promoting a culture of excellence within the team.
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to improve operational efficiency, client satisfaction, and business performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive commercial initiatives and contribute to the success of our business strategies.
Requirements:
  • Registered Nurse on the NMC Register, holding a post-registration qualification in Occupational Health.
  • Proven experience in all aspects of OH service delivery, including health surveillance, fitness for work, and screening procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to chair regular team meetings and engage with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong decision-making ability, with a pragmatic approach to problem-solving and a commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Management qualification at certificate level or above desirable, but not essential.
