About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered General Nurse to join our team at Westgate Healthcare. As a Registered General Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to our elderly residents, ensuring their physical, psychological, and social needs are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver person-centered care to residents, promoting independence and dignity.
  • Support the Home Manager in implementing policies and procedures, ensuring a safe and effective care environment.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care, including medical, social, and emotional support.
  • Ensure adherence to infection control policies and procedures, maintaining a clean and hygienic environment.
  • Work in accordance with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) guidelines, NMC code of conduct, and relevant legislation.

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • A recognized qualification as a Registered General Nurse.
  • Valid and current NMC registration and PIN.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to lead a team.
  • A compassionate and caring nature, with a positive attitude and flexible work ethic.
