We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quantity Surveyor/Commercial Manager to join our team at Kingsmead Homes, specializing in the New Build Residential sector.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of construction principles and be well-versed in estimating, tendering, and contract management.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage project estimates, including take-offs and cost analysis
  • Prepare and submit tenders, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry standards
  • Attend meetings with clients, site teams, and subcontractors to discuss project progress and resolve any issues
  • Oversee the management of contracts, including negotiation and dispute resolution
  • Collaborate with the project management team to ensure timely and within-budget project delivery

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in the residential construction sector
  • Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and industry regulations
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
