Senior Mental Health Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Mental Health Practitioner to join our multi-disciplinary team. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality, evidence-based care to children and young people with mental health problems within the THRIVE Framework for service delivery.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in mental health, with experience of working with children and young people. You will be responsible for providing direct therapeutic interventions, assessments, and care planning, as well as working collaboratively with other team members to enhance and develop the provision of services to young people and their families.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct therapeutic interventions, assessments, and care planning for children and young people with mental health problems.
- Work collaboratively with other team members to enhance and develop the provision of services to young people and their families.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of the highest professional standards of practice through active participation in internal and external CPD training.
- Participate in research, evaluation, and audit in response to the clinical and professional interest of the post.
- Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of the evidence base in relation to mental health knowledge and other interventions.
- Registered Core Profession Social Work or Nurse and up-to-date Professional Registration.
- Experience of working with CAMHS.
- Experience of mentorship, supervision, and coordination of staff.
- Experience of care planning processes.
- Working in a multi-agency framework.
- Demonstrate a contribution to change management processes.
- Experience in positive leadership of a team.
- Demonstrate experience of problem-solving approaches.
- Recovery Model.
