Job Title: Site Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to join our team at Randstad Construction & Property. As a Site Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of a £20m refurbishment and CAT A fit out project in West London.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Management: Lead and manage a team of Site Managers and an Assistant Site Manager to ensure the successful delivery of the project.
  • Sub-Contractor Management: Manage and coordinate with sub-contractors to ensure timely completion of work.
  • Workload Delegation and Monitoring: Delegate tasks and monitor progress to ensure the project stays on track.
  • Programming and Progress Meetings: Coordinate and chair weekly meetings to discuss project progress and address any issues.
  • Problem Solving: Identify and resolve technical issues on site.
  • Design Team Coordination: Work closely with the design team to ensure that the project meets the required standards.
  • Drawings and Documentation: Ensure a full understanding of the project drawings and documentation.
  • Meetings and Administration: Organize and chair weekly meetings, and deal with purchase order forms and quality control.
  • Client and Contractor Liaison: Liaise with clients and contractors to ensure smooth project delivery.
  • Risk Assessments and Method Statements: Conduct risk assessments and create method statements to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Project Reporting and Administration: Provide regular project reports and administer project-related tasks.

Requirements:

  • Previous Management Experience: Demonstrate previous management experience on challenging and complex commercial refurbishments.
  • Design Detail Understanding: Have a good understanding of design detail and be able to interpret project drawings.
