At Flexciton, we are expanding our product offerings and increasing the number of factories we support, which requires even more automation. Our customers rely on us to deliver robust, resilient, and secure products to run their mission-critical operations, and quality assurance is essential to our success.

We are looking for a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join our team, where you will face unique challenges in testing our optimization-based technology. You will be responsible for planning, leading, and implementing QA and testing strategies, as well as developing tools for integration, regression, load, and performance testing.

As a key member of our engineering team, you will work closely with product teams to deliver quality software, identify and address gaps in design and testing, and ensure all releases meet customer- and business-driven quality standards before deployment.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement test strategies to ensure high-quality software delivery
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to identify and address testing gaps
  • Develop tools for integration, regression, load, and performance testing
  • Conduct manual testing and sign-off on features impacting mission-critical operations
  • Work with product teams to deliver quality software
  • Develop new testing plans for pre-release phases
  • Lead exploratory and manual testing efforts
  • Mentor and coach engineers on best testing practices
Requirements
  • Proven experience (at least 5 years) in planning, leading, and implementing QA and testing strategies
  • Proven experience with software development skills, ideally in Python
  • Desired experience in security, and infrastructure testing and practices
