In the role of Systems Enablement Engineer, you will focus on architecture-specific enhancements to system software within the infrastructure sector. This position offers the chance to collaborate with Arm's prominent industry partners to identify and develop solutions that align with their needs and specifications. It is an excellent opportunity for individuals eager to expand their knowledge and hone their system programming capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Engage in the development of kernel, device drivers, and system software in close partnership with industry collaborators, whether the codebase is open-source or proprietary.
  • Lead the development of performance analysis tools, applying them to evaluate the efficiency of workloads critical to ARM and our partners.
  • Serve as a crucial link in system software development, leveraging ARM's core strengths to enhance our partners' software with state-of-the-art innovations.
Essential Skills and Experience:
  • Proficiency in C/C++ programming languages.
  • Familiarity with open-source software processes, including GIT and code review practices.
  • Experience contributing to both open-source and proprietary software codebases.
  • A comprehensive understanding of kernel, device drivers, system libraries, and system services.

Capability to debug and resolve issues in system software code, including kernel and device drivers.

Preferred Skills and Experience:
  • Strong grasp of ARM64 architecture.
  • Experience in developing unit tests, integration tests, and continuous integration testing.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, ability to manage multiple tasks without sacrificing quality and deadlines. A natural problem solver who thrives on tackling technical challenges.
  • Experience in performance analysis of workloads and operating systems.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, capable of working independently with partners and navigating uncertainty.
  • Strong business acumen with a proven ability to think and act both strategically and tactically.
