Opportunity for a Proposals Engineer in Oil & Gas Systems Limited

We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of Proposals Engineer. This position involves managing inquiries related to Metering Systems for Natural Gas, Crude Oil, and Refined Petroleum Products. Your primary responsibilities will include defining project scope, estimating costs, and engaging in technical discussions with prospective clients.

The successful candidate will coordinate various elements of metering system engineering, including design, planning, and development. You will also be tasked with preparing cost estimates for the company's offerings, creating system designs, and producing P&ID and GA drawings.

As a Proposals Engineer, you will be instrumental in aspects such as design, materials management, workforce requirements, and cost evaluation. You will generate both technical and commercial proposals for diverse opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering engineering support and technical solutions.
  • Evaluating specifications, standards, and regulations.
  • Requesting and assessing quotations from suppliers.
  • Building relationships with suppliers and internal engineering teams.

Applicants should possess a degree in Process, Chemical, Mechanical, or Instrumentation Engineering, along with experience in preparing cost estimates for mechanical and process packages. Strong communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel are essential. Familiarity with the Offshore market and knowledge of Microsoft Project would be advantageous but not mandatory.
