Oil & Gas Systems Limited is seeking a highly skilled Proposals Engineer to join our team.

Job Summary:

The Proposals Engineer will be responsible for developing and preparing technical and commercial proposals for Metering Systems for Natural Gas, Crude Oil & Refined Petroleum Products. This will involve coordinating various aspects of the metering system engineering, including design, planning, and development, as well as preparing cost estimates and technical communication with potential customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and prepare technical and commercial proposals for Metering Systems.
  • Coordinate various aspects of metering system engineering, including design, planning, and development.
  • Prepare cost estimates and technical communication with potential customers.
  • Develop system designs using in-house tools and develop P&ID and GA drawings with others.
  • Provide engineering support and technical solutions.
  • Review and interpretation of specifications, standards, and regulations, and project specifications & requirements.
  • Obtain quotations from suppliers and review quotations and develop good working relationships with suppliers' technical and commercial teams.
  • Obtain technical input from internal discipline engineers to ensure our bids meet clients' specifications and standards.
Requirements:
  • An Engineering degree such as Process/Chemical/Mechanical/Instrumentation.
  • Previous experience of putting together cost estimates for mechanical and process packages.
  • Excellent communication skills, including a good standard of both written and spoken English.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft WORD and EXCEL.
