Job Title: Gas Process Systems Proposal Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Gas Process Systems Proposal Engineer to join our Proposals Team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for supporting all enquiries related to Metering and Sampling Systems, including the development of scope, estimating costs, and technical and commercial communication with potential customers.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Design and select metering and sampling systems packages for engineered and standard products to compile complete technical and commercial proposals.
  • Work closely with the Proposals Team to create solutions for applications, collaborating with engineering staff to provide expertise in equipment selection and overall design of solutions.
  • Develop and assist in the creation of P&IDs, Line Diagrams, and PFDs.
  • Use HYSIS to perform pre-engineering checks, evaluating phase envelopes to assist in design.
  • Prepare cost estimates to build final sales prices.
  • Produce proposals.
  • Review terms and conditions.
  • Review and interpret customer specifications, national and international codes, and project-specific requirements.
  • Attend and participate in Bid Clarification Meetings (BCMs), Pre-Award negotiations, Contract Review/Kick Off Meetings, Design Review Meetings, P&ID and GA Review Meetings, and Close Out Meetings.
  • Interface with potential customers on technical and commercial communications.
  • Liaise with customers to build professional relationships and ensure that we deliver what we have sold.
  • Prepare and check documents produced in-house and by suppliers.
  • Provide engineering support and technical solutions.
  • Review and interpret specifications, standards, and regulations, and project requirements.
  • Obtain and review quotations from suppliers.
  • Assist with contract project work and FAT testing activities as required.
  • Assist with marketing activities such as exhibitions and preparation of marketing materials.
  • Continuously improve procedures and working practices.
  • Maintain confidentiality on all matters relating to company business and always look after the company's interests.
  • Travel as required to attend client meetings.
