About the Role

Oil & Gas Systems Limited is seeking a highly skilled Gas Process Systems Proposal Engineer to join our Proposals Team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for supporting the development of proposals for Metering and Sampling Systems, including scope development, cost estimation, and technical and commercial communication with potential customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Proposal Development: Design and develop proposals for Metering and Sampling Systems, including package design and equipment selection.
  • Technical and Commercial Communication: Communicate with potential customers to understand their requirements and provide technical and commercial solutions.
  • Cost Estimation: Prepare cost estimates to build final sales prices.
  • Proposal Review: Review and interpret customer specifications, national and international codes, and project-specific requirements.
  • Bid Clarification Meetings: Attend and participate in Bid Clarification Meetings (BCMs) to clarify customer requirements.
  • Pre-Award Negotiations: Attend and participate in Pre-Award negotiations to finalize proposal details.
  • Contract Review: Participate in Contract Review and Kick-Off Meetings to ensure proposal requirements are met.
  • Design Review: Participate in Design Review Meetings to ensure proposal designs meet customer requirements.
  • P&ID and GA Review: Participate in P&ID and GA Review Meetings to ensure proposal designs meet customer requirements.
  • Closing Meetings: Participate in Closing Meetings to ensure proposal requirements are met.
  • Technical Support: Provide engineering support and technical solutions to customers.
  • Document Preparation: Prepare and check documents produced in-house and by suppliers.
  • Supplier Management: Obtain and review quotations from suppliers.
  • Contract Project Work: Assist with contract project work as required and assist in FAT testing activities at our workshop in Gorseinon when necessary.
  • Marketing Activities: Assist with marketing activities such as exhibitions and preparation of marketing materials.
  • Continuous Improvement: Continuously improve procedures and working practices.
  • Confidentiality: Maintain strict confidentiality on all matters relating to company business and always look after the company's interests.
  • Travel: Some travel may be required to attend client BCMs, HAZOP/HAZID, and Expediting meetings.
