Senior Quantity Surveyor Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team at GS3 Recruitment. This role involves working on a variety of projects across Central Scotland, including Council Void properties, Roofing, Cladding, and Main Contracting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage all aspects of the quantity surveying function, including cost planning, budgeting, and contract administration.
  • Oversee the commercial aspects of multiple projects, ensuring profitability and cost control.
  • Prepare valuations, variations, and final accounts.
  • Work closely with site teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standard.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and agreements with subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Provide accurate and timely financial reporting to senior management.
Candidate Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, preferably in construction, roofing, cladding, or related fields.
  • Strong understanding of contract law and construction regulations.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Relevant degree or professional qualification in Quantity Surveying or related discipline.
