Job Overview

Permanent Position: Community Nurse Band 5 - Community Clinic

NELFT is looking for enthusiastic and motivated Registered Nurses to enhance our community health services in Havering. The Community Nurse will provide comprehensive health care to patients, families, and caregivers in their homes, residential care facilities, and nurse-led clinics.

Main Responsibilities

The role involves delivering treatment, guidance, and education within the professional scope of practice. Candidates must demonstrate a commitment to providing high-quality, evidence-based care. The ideal applicant will be a registered nurse (Part 1) and will collaborate as part of an integrated community health care team, working across professional and organizational boundaries. This includes liaising with GPs and other professionals to deliver personalized care under the supervision of a District Nurse.

Essential Criteria

  • Ability to function effectively within a multi-disciplinary Primary Health Care Team.
  • Knowledge of key issues in Primary Care Services.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
