About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Bid Manager to join our team at Cumming Group UK & Europe. As a key member of our marketing team, you will play a crucial role in supporting our business growth and expansion across Europe.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement bid strategies to win new business opportunities in the infrastructure sector
  • Collaborate with senior personnel to support marketing activities, including proposal development, client presentations, and bid submissions
  • Work closely with the bid coordinator and other teams to ensure all requirements for bid submissions are met
  • Prepare customized collateral and statements of qualifications (SOQs) as required throughout the sales process
  • Participate in regular meetings and contribute to the development of plans to win major new client or project pursuits
  • Support the collection and input of project, team member, and boilerplate proposal information into our databases
  • Ensure Quality Assurance of information and material used in proposals or SOQs
  • Communicate and influence at a senior level, liaising with Bid Managers from other organizations where joint bids are being pursued
Requirements
  • Previous experience in writing and editing proposal content and tender submissions is essential
  • 5+ years business development experience in the built environment sector
  • Built environment and infrastructure construction knowledge and experience
  • Knowledge of bid and proposal processes within the built environment sector, including public sector tendering
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with different teams
  • Experience in leading storyboarding sessions
  • Multiple project management of bids in parallel with the ability to prioritize and delegate
  • Broad IT skills with an eye for design and an impactful presentation
